UI Developer

 

What you will need to do in the role, and we will help you to do it:

 

  • Estimation & end to end execution of required changes, coordination with stakeholders as required
  • Responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and support of key applications or frameworks
  • Translate high-level business requirements on multiple, complex requests into detailed functional, technical, and / or system specifications
  • Test software designs and solutions
  • Build and maintain automated test suites for applications
  • Support and respond to user queries or issues; determine the root cause and best resolution of escalated issues
  • Work with data providers to communicate and define any data and reporting requirements

 

 

What skills and experience are essential for the position?

 

  • 5+ years of experience in hands-on application development utilizing Angular, experience with modern UI / UX design and implementation specifically for web applications
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, CSS3, and HTML5
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in an agile team using Agile tools such as Jira
  • Experience in the development of service-oriented architecture application, good understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns and Git version control
  • Experience in the full software development life cycle
  • Experience with automation and scripting languages

 

 

If you have experience in one of these it is a plus:

 

  • Knowledge of the Financial services industry
  • Proficient in DevOps tooling and practices
  • Experience with MVC patterned applications
  • Experience with Data visualization tools like Tableau
  • Experience with Cloud-based tools and technologies
  • Experience working with Continuous Integration systems
