Head of Consulting & Development Services (CDS) Business Unit


What you will need to do in the role, and we will help you to do it:


  • Strategic Overview:
    • Manage and coordinate the CDS Business Unit
    • Be the strategic go-to person for all local matters that impact CDS Unit (labor, commercial, legal, operational topics)
    • Be the liaison and SPOC at the group level between the group initiatives and cross-border delivery and the local unit
    • Represent the CDS Business Unit on various events


  • Business Development and Management:
    • Keeping an up-to-date understanding of the local market
    • Driving and monitoring the sales process and pipeline for CDS, together with the sales department
    • Acting as presales and delivering tailored presentations to potential clients
    • Acting as the manager for the most important accounts, together with the responsible account managers
    • Involving in strategic negotiations for terms and conditions (including prices) and acting as escalation point for deciding on exceptions from the standard policies
    • Developing strategic business relationships at CxO level, on the current accounts and prospects, from the sales team’s pipeline and own network
    • Foster cross-sell opportunities in the current accounts by developing a solid working knowledge of the companies’ solutions and the benefits they provide to the existing customers and prospects


  • Service Management:
    • Lead and Manage the Service Manager team
    • Being responsible for the Team’s operation towards existing projects and people
    • Influence the Recruitment strategy by defining the USPs for Qualysoft on the local market for the CDS projects
    • Influence the HR policies
    • Drive the people management activities, including team buildings, upskilling programs
    • Be in charge with the consultant’s evolution (annual review, training, the evolution of salaries and rates)


  • Resource Management:
    • Work closely with all delivery channels including Service Managers, Recruitment, VMO and Solution
    • Keeping an up-to-date understanding of the local labor market
    • Knowing the advantages of each channel in order to being able to present the best mix of competence, cost and availability for the CDS opportunities inside current accounts and prospects


  • Profit Center Management:
    • Contributing to the companies’ growth through consistently achieving commonly agreed goals.
    • Driving the evolution of turnover and rentability for your business unit.
    • Monitoring projects profitability and customer satisfaction.
    • Conduct negotiations with new potential partners and manage the contract conducting processes.
    • Prepare and keep the annual business and cost plans.



What skills and experience are essential for the position?


  • A bachelor’s degree in business or IT
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in working for Software Services companies
  • Understanding of the most common technology stacks around Back-End, Front-End, DevOps and Cloud, DBAs, QA, Support, together with methodologies and principles corelated with Project Management, ITIL, SDLC, etc.
  • Experience and expertise on the local market around Software (Development) Services
  • Experience and expertise on the local labor market around the main technology stacks
  • Exceptional abilities in communication and negotiation, capable of effectively engaging and persuading decision-makers and building strong, long-term relationships with dine-in business partners
  • Strong analytical abilities, able to leverage data in decision-making processes and problem-solving, particularly in enhancing dine-in performance and business partner success
  • Excel in quickly adapting to change and proactively addressing challenges with effective, solution-oriented strategies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian languages
  • German language knowledge is an advantage
