How to Prepare for a Technical Interview

If you're applying for an IT position with us, it's important to know that most interviews are conducted online with our clients and often involve multiple technical professionals. These interviews are typically technical in nature and often include more than one round, so thorough preparation is key.

  • 1–2 (or more) interview rounds – Typically, the process begins with a technical interview. A second round may follow depending on the role and the client.
  • Online Format – Most interviews are held via video calls (usually on Teams or Zoom), so make sure your technical setup is in order (camera, microphone, and a stable internet connection).
  • Technical questions – Some of our partners may include practical tasks (you’ll be informed of this during the initial HR call), but in most cases, your knowledge will be assessed through theoretical questions.
  • Interview etiquette – In line with our clients’ explicit expectations, please make sure to follow the rules below carefully.

During the interview, please do not use any external aids, including:

  • Notes,
  • Code generation tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot),
  • Online documentation (e.g. Stack Overflow),
  • Any other external sources.

Do not type during the interview, unless explicitly instructed by the interviewer.

Transparency and fairness are extremely important to us. Our clients also take these rules very seriously. Any breach of these ethical expectations may result in the termination of the interview or disqualification from the recruitment process.

  • Learn about the position and the client – If you know who will be interviewing you, research the company in advance.
  • Refresh your knowledge – Review the technologies and programming languages relevant to the role.
  • Practice – Try solving a few coding tasks on your own (but do not use them during the interview!).
  • Test your setup – Make sure your camera, microphone, and internet connection are working smoothly.

If you have any questions about the process, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help!
Good luck with your interview!

What happens between the interview and the actual start of work?

Following the conclusion of the interview process and the mutual agreement between the candidate and the client to move forward with the collaboration, the Customer Success Manager becomes involved. This typically occurs after the technical interview rounds, during the partnership alignment phase.

At this stage, the Customer Success Manager's role is to collaboratively review, clarify, and finalize the operational steps of the engagement, ensuring a smooth integration and onboarding process for all parties involved.
