The Client

Porsche Informatics provides software development and IT services for Porsche Holding Salzburg and Volkswagen Group. It helps them increase business efficiency and profitability.


Porsche is best known for its powerful, luxury sports cars, most famously the iconic 911. Porsche is all about the smile it puts on your face every time you start it up, the feeling when you speed up, the way it grips the road, and the sound when the turbocharger kicks in

The Challenge - Eliminating Inefficiencies & Integrating Systems

Porsche Informatics was looking for an IT partner experienced in near-shore operations for a key project: Developing the next-generation CROSS DMS.

  • Technical - The Dealer Management System (DMS) must enable all dealerships to manage their entire business in one cloud-based dealership app. This would allow them to see the whole picture clearly. The DMS allows simplified and easy-to-use information exchange between all the operational divisions: manage inventory, check invoices for points of sale, view the service history, or track leads.

  • Logistical - In a short period of time, there was a need to acquire top IT talents with international language skills and train them in the development environment and technical requirements of this project.


Once again, Porsche Informatics chose Qualysoft as a strategic partner to provide:

  • A next-generation “CROSS” Dealer Management System. The software provides all the functionalities required by the car dealerships and their partners: sales, service and spare parts, management, and controlling areas. All users from the dealerships access the same central customer database. Customer information and vehicle history are available to all of the corporate chain’s users at the click of a mouse.
  • An improved process for the acquisition and selection of the required team of highly trained IT professionals.
