We're excited to announce that Qualysoft was awarded the Software Outsourcing Project of the Year at the ANIS Romania 2024 Gala for our project regarding the Indonesia Digital Tax Administration System. This recognition highlights our commitment to improving the Indonesian Directorate General of Taxes and sustaining their digital transformation.
The 2024 ANIS IT Industry Excellence Awards recognizes the top performers and best IT companies, their projects and initiatives that significantly contributed to the IT industry during the past year. This year's edition of the Gala was preceded by the first edition of the ANIS International Summit, where representatives of the most important local, regional and European institutions and global IT companies debated the current context of the industry, regarding both regulations and technological trends.
Improving the performance of tax collection and the relationship between Indonesian citizens and government through a brand new Digital Taxation System.
Indonesia faced significant challenges in mobilizing domestic financial resources for sustainable development. Despite consistent economic growth, they struggled to raise enough tax revenue to fund public services and investments in infrastructure, education, and healthcare.
To address this, the Indonesian government implemented a range of measures in reforming its fiscal policy including expanding the tax base, enhancing the efficiency of tax collection, and improving the quality of government spending.
A. A core tax administration system
B. A web portal for taxpayers
The focus of Tax Administration 3.0 is on delivering a user-friendly and seamless tax experience to taxpayers, while also providing tax authorities with the tools and data they need to work effectively and enforce tax laws and protect revenue.
With the use of digital technology and data analytics, Tax Administration 3.0 aims to transform the traditional tax administration process into a automated, data-driven, and proactive approach. This includes the use of digital portals, online tax filing systems, and real-time data analytics to streamline the tax administration process and provide taxpayers with real-time information on their tax obligations and compliance status.
The estimated impact for Indonesia will be a yearly 1,5% increase in the real gross domestic product (GDP) and will simplify the tax payment experience for nearly 200 million citizens.
